Fiber Optics
Our in-house fiber optics shop partner FON (Fiber Optics Network) is comprised of ETA Certified Fiber Optics technicians and fabricators who build, assemble, test and repair fiber optic cables and assemblies on site at VISION MT.
Fiber technicians are proficient in Single Mode, Multi Mode and Multi Channel construction with tight and loose structured fiber. Our team is trained to properly terminate all manner of fiber optic termini including pin, socket and ARINC termini, LC, ST, M38999, M28876 and ARINC connectors. Our ETA certified installers are qualified to support work on the aircraft.
Cables are tested with Light Source and Power Meters as well as an IOLM. Our ETA certified Fiber Optic Cable Installers are qualified to terminate and install cables and assemblies on site.
